"vive la france!" || my tour guide w/ French flag - I went on walking tours in my first few days in Paris to familiarize myself with the city & it's history

caught the Eiffel Tower lit up just as the sun went down

apparently foreigners/expats are the ones who usually "lock their love" on these bridges - Parisians aren't a huge fan of it. also original lock bridge not pictured, French gov't had to remove all the locks on the og one because it cost too much to maintain... but visitors would just lock on all the other available bridges luls

behold the world famous cabaret venue where people from all walks of life mixed in "an atmosphere of total euphoria"

night tour of the historic Montmartre district - It retains much of its original roads & buildings, and used to house notable artists like Van Gogh, Picasso, and Monet

Basilique du Sacré-Cœur at the summit of the Butte Montmartre. It's home to one of the largest religious mosaics in the world + offers absolutely amazing  panoramic views of the city. this picture doesn't do it justice, the detail in the architecture is incredible y'all

Monet's Water Lilies  at the Musée de l'Orangerie - smaller museum than other ones in Paris but definitely worth it

sorry last one of the Eiffel Tower but I just couldn't resist *-*

selfie in the Hall of Mirrors @ the Palace of Versailles, ft. family taking selfie behind me LOL

had a peaceful walk through the gardens of the Château de Versailles, although the chilly and overcast weather gave the surroundings a slightly mysterious aura

accurate representation of how I feel about having to face the schoolwork I pushed aside for this trip

Hall of Mirrors - I was already awestruck by the sheer size of the palace gardens but MAN when I walked into the Hall of Mirrors... the luxury this place exudes is insane . I tried to take it in slowly but that was almost impossible w/ the crowds

amazing fall colors and sunset sky at the Seine

first time trying escargot!! I was skeptical but it was actually delicious and I couldn't get enough of the garlic/butter sauce

went here on recommendation for their hot chocolate & although a little sweet for my taste, it definitely did not disappoint

in my daydreams I live in a nice Parisian apartment where wine is free-flowing and I can fling open the windows in the summer to yell "bonjour!!" to everyone below
